Reminders Of Content Transfer

  1. Backup data on your old phone
    • Backup data to cloud or other storage device (such as computer or external hard disk)
    • Make sure the new phone has enough storage space
  2. Backup Contacts
    • Make sure contacts have been synced to Apple or Google account
  3. Backup WhatsApp messages
    • Backup data to cloud (such as iCloud or Google Drive)
  4. Make down login information of most used Apps
    • Such as login ID/account, password, phone number, email, bank account, member account

* For iOS devices, WhatsApp chat history will be transferred via iCloud.

# If the brand of your newly purchased smartphone is iPhone, Samsung or HUAWEI, please visit any SmarTone Store. For else smartphone brand, please visit following SmarTone stores: Causeway Bay Yee Wo Street, Kowloon Bay Telford Plaza 1, Tseung Kwan O PARK Central or Wanchai Johnston Road.

·The lead time of content transfer may vary between models and is subject to the respective model and amount of content.
·Due to different file types of the old and new handset, content may not be entirely transferred to the new handset during the process.
·The Phone Content Transfer Service is not available to device which has been modified in an unauthorized way (e.g. jailbreaking).
·Customers are strongly encouraged to backup all data and information on their device prior to the Phone Content Transfer Service.
